Partner opportunity as only 5% of UK businesses have fully automated finance processes

V1, the award-winning finance automation software company, has launched its V1 Select Partner Programme to help partners, system integrators, consultants and resellers increase revenue streams and demonstrate leadership in the untapped fully automated finance processes market. This latest move comes at a time when new technologies promise to transform the finance operations yet research suggests that just 5% of UK businesses currently describe their accounting processes as ‘fully automated’.

V1 already has an established reseller network. It works closely with finance and accounting manufacturers and resellers of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Financial Management Systems (FMS) solutions including Sage, Advanced and Infor, as well as resellers of other leading products such as Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle E-Business Suite. The introduction of its new programme will boost the way V1 supports and rewards its spectrum of partners, helping both V1 and its channel partners tap into the increasing demand from organisations wanting to automate financial business processes.

“Over 90% of organisations still use paper and manual data entry in their finance function, which is really surprising when so many companies are undergoing digital transformation projects. As more organisations implement technologies like cloud computing, data analytics and artificial intelligence, financial directors are facing mounting pressure to take control of more complex financial functions. Our reseller programme will help partners capitalise on this market change,” comments Dean McGlone, Sales Director at V1.

The V1 Select Partner Programme consists of a range of benefits to support and reward partners of all kinds to support their customers and build their own offering, including certification programmes, marketing support and lead generation. It is broken down into a number of different categories:

  • Alliance Partners, for authors of ERP and accounting systems
  • V1 Select Resellers ranging from Platinum, Gold, Silver and Agent
  • Sage X3 and its partner network, including its Certified Development Professional Programme

Dean adds: “We have the only certified invoice automation software that integrates seamlessly with leading finance and accounting software, either as an integral component of the overall solution or as an add-on. It’s already a no-brainer for many partners to include V1 automatically, and it is important to ensure we step-up in the way we support our loyal channel, as well as engage closer with others. That’s exactly why we’ve created Select.”

Andrew Pritchard, Sales Director at Datel, says: “Businesses are juggling how to cut costs, especially on overhead spend from manual financial processes such as invoice management. V1’s software helps them develop touchless, automated processes, halving the cost of such processes, and it will also make the financial departments’ jobs far more efficient in today’s digital disruptive age. We are not surprised by V1’s plans to capitalise on this exciting opportunity. The new programme will boost our success in helping our customers transform the finance function and, in doing so, create continuous demand for V1’s integrated and tailored solutions.”
