RPA drives success for V1 partner, whilst V1 nearly triples revenue from Sapphire
As robotic process automation (RPA) gains recognition as a silver bullet in overcoming productivity issues within British organisations, one of V1’s innovative partners – business and finance software company Sapphire – has tapped into this opportunity in the last twelve months. It has delivered accelerated growth for V1’s finance automation software, signing up a host of new customers keen to embrace the positive impact that digital transformation and RPA in particular can deliver – from organisations including Mountain Warehouse, Lomar Shipping through to Smartest Energy and the National Deaf Children’s Society – driving partner revenues up by over 250%. Acknowledging this achievement, V1 has named Sapphire as its ‘Partner of the Year’.
Following the launch of the V1 Select Partner Programme last year, V1 and its partners have worked closely to maximise the appetite for digital transformation programmes and encourage companies – as a first easy step - to fully automate their finance processes. Sapphire integrates V1’s finance automation solution with its financial management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, which together has resulted in significant revenue growth.
“We’re living in the 4th Industrial Revolution yet productivity continues to hold Britain back. Robotic process automation must be at the heart of every team if they are to improve efficiencies and staff need to understand that this can transform their roles for the better. Sapphire has championed this and shown the positive disruption this can deliver. To nearly triple partner revenue with us within twelve months shows the kind of appetite we’re seeing from the business community,” says Dean McGlone, Director of V1.
Steve Wright, Sales Director at Sapphire, says: “V1’s software has become an integral point of differentiation when talking to organisations. Eradicating inefficiencies in traditional business processes is a hot topic. Customers want valuable insights from their financial data and they can only act upon this knowledge if they free up time to benefit from it. V1’s software helps them develop touchless, automated processes, halving the cost of such processes and the time spent on them and so help to transform the finance function. As one of the largest SunSystem resellers, this proposition and evidence has helped to boost demand for our integrated and tailored solutions.”
“The use of paper and manual data entry remains commonplace in many finance functions, but things are changing - with the advent of the forthcoming GDPR legislation approaching fast, we expect more businesses to recognise how cognitive technologies such as our RPA solution can help drive compliance, for example. Businesses are facing mounting pressures and as more embrace integrated technologies like cloud computing, data analytics and artificial intelligence, we’ll be working closely with our partners to ensure they maximise this opportunity,” concludes Dean McGlone, Director at V1.
V1 has an established reseller network. It works closely with finance and accounting manufacturers and resellers of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Financial Management Systems (FMS) solutions including Sage, Advanced and Infor, as well as resellers of other leading products such as Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle E-Business Suite. The introduction of its new programme has boosted the way V1 supports and rewards its spectrum of partners, helping both V1 and its channel partners tap into the increasing demand from organisations wanting to automate financial business processes.
